I am a 24 year old female from England with a driving licence, here on a working holiday visa. I have a huge passion for horses and have riden from a very early age. I have experience with Polo, thoroughbreds, Brood mares, yearlings, foals, stallions and riding young and experienced horses. I am a team player but also work well of my own initiative.
I am currently based in Scone NSW but am willing to travel anywhere for the right position. Available to start work immediately.

Farm hand
• Responsible for 100+ horses, including brood mares, foals and yearlings
• Administering needles and medicines
• Running mares into yards to go under lights at the end of each day
• Feed up
• Mucking out stalls and yards
• General upkeep of the farm mowing, fencing and harrowing
• Assisting the vet with scanning
• Assisting the farrier
• Vaccinating and worming all new arrivals on farm
• Looking after injuries
• Grooming, bathing horses and pulling manes
• Foal watch
• Assisting at sales (walking horses at auction and preparing them)
• Checking afterbirth for abnormalities
• Determine when mares are ready to come into the foaling yards

• Responsible for 156 horses including made Polo horses, Broodmares, foals, yearlings and stallions.
• Exercising stallions and mares in preparation for tournaments, this included riding in sets leading up to 5 horses whilst riding.
• Riding the young horses recently returned from the breakers.
• Lunging.
• Taking care of injuries.
• Worming of all horses.
• Weaning and handling of foals.
• Preparing horses for the Polo players during tournaments (tacking up, plaiting, bandaging and warming up.
• Feed up morning and afternoon.
• Mucking out stalls.
