I have spent all my life with horses. I started riding at a very early age, and i still ride & train them. I have a total of 30years experience (training, breaking in, dressage, jumping, racing etc) on the saddle. I have equipped myself academically when it comes to horses. - Professional Training
- The academy was set up keeping in mind the following: Basic Horsemanship, flat racing experience, breaking in 2 year olds, equine science, stable management, basics of breeding, handicapping, race reading, procedures of conducting enquires, in-depth study of the weight for age scale, horse assessing conformation), rules of racing & their implementation, stud farm management. This was a two year programme specially designed to cater to the needs of the various Turf Clubs & Leading stud farms of India, for highly trained & experienced horsemen to fill the role of Stipendiary Stewards, Stud farm managers, Equine studies instructors & handicappers. The academy has built a reputation as a premier institute offering an in depth training programme in horse studies. I graduated from this academy with distinction & have put the skills garnered to the best of abilities. I have also written a Thesis on ‘How to train a Jockey’.

Also, during my tenure with BTC, what I found most challenging & satisfying was: BARI (Bangalore Amateur Riders Institute), is a riding school set up under aegis of the Bangalore Turf Club; this school’s main focus was to impart training in basic horsemanship, taking part in Regional & National Horse Shows. As well as the Gymkhana races (flat Racing), my duties here as Captain included supervising and over looking all of the above. The school had 22 horses, supervising their workouts feeding & medication.
