I have owned horses from the age of 12 so I am very knowledgeable on the care and needs of horses, I have also successfully show jumped and placed in the North West showjumping championships.
Equine Work Experience
four week work placement where I went to Black Feathers horse drawn carriages which do wedding and funerals with the horses, This gave me the opportunity to deal and handle with high class stallions. Also to communicate with the public by answering phones and showing customers the horses for their bookings.
Work History
I have experience as a full time groom on a showjumping/dealing/riding school doing general duties for a yard of 40 horses, deal with the general public on the phone taking bookings for the riding school and grooming and plaiting up horses for potential buyers on the dealing side of the yard, I am confident around horses and not afraid of hard work. I have also worked at a riding school/livery yard 2008-2010 doing general duties/exercising and sole charge of 15 horses And holiday livery on another livery yard
